Valentine's Editorial Styled Shoot

Happy February!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's / Galentine's Day!

I'm thrilled to share that our Valentine's editorial shoot was featured on 100 Layer Cake. We teamed up with stylist Kelly Oshiro and photographer Marissa Lambert to create this beautiful shoot with the theme of intersecting circles. I love that they used the visual symbolism to tell a story about love and union of souls - such a perfect month for the feature too ;) The shoot was shot at one of the most beautiful venues in California, Malibu Rocky Oaks. Isn't the location just stunning? I love the contrast between the pops of red and pink against the cool hues of the mountains. It sets such a beautiful backdrop and all of the circular silhouettes we had on set. The hanging rings with the elaborate floral designs and the those ceremony chairs are so so dreamy!

For paper, we went with the classic Valentine's day colors with reds and pinks and I'm obsessed with the vintage stamps we paired the suite with. I had so much fun adding flourishes to the calligraphy making the entire suite more playful. For reception, we created linen menus with burgundy calligraphy to add a pop of color! I absolutely love how Kelly styled the entire set with gold and ivory silverware, simple candles and red spotted orchids. All the textures work so well together to create a beautiful table scape.
