Spring Inspired Maternity Shoot

As I’m writing this blogpost, I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant! It feels surreal to know that I’ll be carrying my baby boy for just a few more weeks AND that he’ll be joining us in the flesh very very soon!

I can say in full confidence that these past 9 months have been absolutely joyous for me. It wasn’t always easy or fun, but the overall experience of growing a human being is truly empowering. I’ll share more in depth about my overall pregnancy experience on my Youtube channel but for now, here’s our maternity shoot from a few weeks ago.

My lovely friend Caitlin Alohilani reached out to me about doing a maternity shoot and of course I said YES! She was incredible to work with, made us feel comfortable and delivered all these photos within 1-2 days! I can’t believe she got so many good photos in just 20 minutes and I am so happy with the way they came out. I am so thankful to Caitlin, we will treasure these photos forever!

I don’t have a ton of pink in my closet, but I made an exception for this little number from Stitch & Feather. I love the combination of blush against the cream floral print and the ruching details of the sleeves adds a nice touch. This isn’t a maternity dress so I sized up because #preggobellyproblems.
