3 Spring Inspired Outfits for Special Occasions

I don’t know if it’s Easter or the super bloom, but I’ve been inspired to wear more dresses lately.

Let me start off by saying, I’m normally a t-shirt, jeans, and slip-on mules kind of a girl. However, the nature of my job has challenged me to dress up more! When we go on-site for Live Art, a lot of events are special occasions like weddings, bridal & baby showers and birthday parties. I’ve been more intentional about buying items that are dressy enough for special events while staying true to my laid back style.

For today’s post, I’ve partnered with Piper & Scoot and created three spring inspired outfits that you can wear for special occasions. I love that each dress is cute, comfy, and you can dress them up or down. Take a look!

Ruffles

If you’re into neutrals and want to add more color in your life, this speckled number is the perfect starter. It comes in this mustard color which is flattering on so many skin tones! I’m all about pops of yellow so this dress was a no brainer for me. I love how the ruffles give the body more movement and coverage. Plus, it’s so dang cute! This dress would be perfect for an outdoor wedding, wine tasting in a vineyard, or for frolicking in a flower field (as one does during the super bloom lol.)

For the everyday, I’d styled it with: birks + canvas tote bag

Polka Dot

I’m a huge fan of mini polka dots and this one is extra special because each dot is slightly different. The hand-painted look makes the dress so much more interesting and gives it that youthful look. My favorite part is the deep pockets - it even fits my giant iPhone 8 plus! I wore this dress on Easter because it was cute enough for church and functional enough to run errands after.

For the everyday, I’d styled it with: a denim jacket + wide brimmed hat

Pattern Mix

This has to be my favorite dress in the closet right now. I love how unique it looks with the two toned pattern and the colors work so well together. The body is a relaxed fit so I would choose the size based on how long you want the dress to be. The model wore a small and it hit her above the knee so I decided to size up because I wanted it to be a tad longer. I got the medium and it hits me at the perfect length - love!

For the everyday, I’d styled it with: a mustard beanie and checkered slip ons (Spinelli vibes anyone?)

& that’s a wrap! I had so much fun partnering with Piper & Scoot for this blog post. If you’re not familiar, they’re a female owned company and the owner does try on videos on Instagram! A lot of their dresses are pregnant and nursing friendly so definitely check them out if you’re a new mama!
