One top, Two looks
I've always liked the idea of maximizing my closet and challenging myself to create multiple outfits with a limited number of items. I'm not really one to stick to one style for a long time so I like to invest into pieces that are as versatile as my ever-changing looks. Growing up, I was attracted to bold, statement pieces but I soon realized how quickly I got over them and ended up having massive spring cleaning each year. Now I prefer clothing that can coordinate with different outfits so I can wear them over and over. Aside from solids, I always welcome knits and timeless patterns like stripes and polka dots because they are so easy to wear. With this in mind, I took my new striped top from Diivinity and created two different looks.
The first outfit is more relaxed with a pair of black boyfriend jeans and a wide brimmed hat. Because the top and bottom have a looser fit, I paired them up with my lace up heels to keep from looking overly slouchy. I wore my Horse watch I received for Christmas and layered on a bunch of my favorite jewelry pieces from Mantle Shoppe, Carden & Aster and Dear Survivor.

Top: Diivinity
Boyfriend Jeans: Levis (thrifted)
Shoes: Topshop
Hat: Anthropologie
For my second look, I wanted to experiment by pairing the top with a button up romper. Since it's still a little bit chilly, I thought the long sleeve would be a nice way to layer and mix different textures. This one's probably not everyone's cup of tea but I had fun with it.
