Outfitted with Della
Happy weekend!
I can't believe it's the end of October already... Although we are deep into fall, it's still pretty warm here in the West Coast and I've been wearing dresses non-stop! For this outfit post, I partnered with Della Los Angeles to style one of their super cute and comfy dresses.
If you aren't familiar with the brand, Della is a Los Angeles based fashion line that works with women in Ghana to produce socially responsible clothing and accessories. You might have seen their eye catching patterned tees and colorful dresses on the racks of Urban Outfitters.
This gray bubble tent dress has been my go-to piece for when I want to be comfy but still look put together. The material is super soft and is weighty enough so you won't have to worry about having a "Marilyn" moment ;) I took this piece to both of my recent trips to Hawaii and San Francisco because it's so light weight and versatile. This particular day was pretty warm so I wore the dress as is and paired it with my go to Avarcas sandals and accessorized with a red handkerchief from Free People. On cooler days, I love wearing this dress over a white tee or layering it under a knitted sweater. You can also see how I styled another Della dress in my Hawaii trip [here]
When Della reached out about doing an outfit post, I was impressed by their ethical fashion and message to carry change. I loved that their entire business is woman-owned and woman-run that is driven by awareness of the need for a global market (#girlpower!) They work directly with a community in West Africa to provide socially-responsible and quality products AND provide jobs, education, and skills training to their employees.
